The Conklin Kids DO Care Club were busy Monday, May 4th running the Student Vote at Conklin Community School as members of the school community took part in the provincial election by voting for a candidate to represent the riding of Fort McMurray- Conklin in the Legislative Assembly. Voter turnout was high with 85% of the school’s population casting ballots. Members of the Conklin Kids Do Care Club spent the week leading up to the election creating posters to encourage students to vote, gathering information about the 4 candidates running in the election and getting organized for the actual event.
